Where Does Bread Come From?

Another in the beautifully illustrated series of children’s books – this time explaining the process to how we make flour and then bread. The story starts on a South Canterbury wheat farm where the wheat is harvested. The wheat is then sent to be made into flour with the traditional use of wind power in the form of a Dutch windmill right here in New Zealand. Once the wheat has been ground into flour we take a journey with young Imogen as she turns her hand at bread making.

Also included is a simple bread recipe to try at home. The book is forty pages of fun and facts.
